Self-made Course
Terms & Conditions

      1. Application and acceptance

These Terms govern your purchase of and participation in the Self-made Money Coach course, including its videos, worksheets, calculators, downloadable resources, live sessions and associated community (“Course”).

“We”, “us” and “our” refer to the Provider identified above. “You” and “your” refer to the purchaser or participant.

By confirming your acceptance at checkout, you agree to these Terms. The Course inclusions, price, payment arrangements and access period disclosed before purchase form part of your agreement with us.

  1. Educational purposes only

The Course provides general financial education and information. It is not intended to constitute personal financial advice, financial product advice, investment advice, taxation advice, legal advice or a recommendation to acquire, retain or dispose of any financial product.

The Course does not take into account your individual objectives, financial situation, needs, liabilities, risk tolerance or personal circumstances. Participation does not establish a financial adviser-client, tax adviser–client or legal adviser–client relationship.

References to financial products, strategies, providers or investment types are for explanation and illustration and are not intended as endorsements or recommendations.

  1. Independent professional advice

Before finalising any financial decisions or implementing any strategies discussed in the Course, We strongly advise you to obtain independent advice from an appropriately qualified and, where required, licensed financial adviser, accountant, registered tax agent, solicitor or other relevant professional.

Laws, taxation rules, financial regulations and eligibility requirements vary between countries, states and territories and according to individual circumstances. Information relevant to one participant may not apply to another.

  1. Responsibility for decisions and financial risk

You remain responsible for assessing the suitability of any action you choose to take and for obtaining appropriate professional advice.

Financial decisions may involve loss of capital, borrowing costs, taxation consequences and other risks. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.

Subject to clause 8, we are not responsible for losses resulting solely from your independent financial decisions where those losses were not caused or contributed to by our breach of contract, negligence, misleading conduct or other unlawful act or omission.

Nothing in these Terms requires you to waive a claim that you are legally entitled to bring.

  1. Illustrations and outcomes

Calculations, projections, case studies and examples are illustrative only. Their assumptions may not reflect actual market conditions, inflation, taxation, fees or your circumstances.

We do not guarantee any particular income, savings, investment return, debt reduction, retirement balance or other financial outcome. Testimonials describe individual experiences and do not guarantee equivalent results.

  1. Fees, payment plans and access

The total price and any instalment schedule will be disclosed before purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, a payment plan divides the purchase price into instalments; it is not a monthly subscription.

Subject to your statutory rights and any express cancellation entitlement, choosing not to complete the Course does not cancel outstanding instalments.

Your access period and included services are those stated at purchase. Any promise of lifetime access or continuing support remains subject to its disclosed meaning and applicable law; these Terms do not retrospectively reduce that promise.

If a payment is overdue, we may suspend access after giving written notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Suspension will not occur solely because you have raised a genuine complaint or exercised a statutory right.

  1. Refunds and cancellations

Change of mind: Except where required by law or expressly offered before purchase, we do not provide change-of-mind refunds. This includes where you change your plans, do not use or complete the Course, or decide that the subject matter no longer interests you.

Consumer remedies: Where required by law, we will provide the applicable remedy. Making digital content available or you’re accessing that content does not extinguish those rights.

Requests: Please contact [email protected] with your name, purchase details and a description of the issue. We aim to respond within 10 business days. This process does not impose a deadline on statutory claims.

  1. Non-excludable rights and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, remedy or liability under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified (“Non-Excludable Rights”).

We will exercise reasonable care and skill in providing the Course. We do not warrant that illustrative financial outcomes will occur or that all information will remain current indefinitely.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising solely from market movements, changes in law or your independent dealings with third parties where we have not caused or contributed to those losses.

No exclusion in these Terms applies to liability arising from our fraud, wilful misconduct, negligence, misleading or deceptive conduct, or breach of Non-Excludable Rights.

  1. Live sessions and community discussions

Questions, discussions and responses within the Course community or live sessions are intended for general education. Individual circumstances may require referral to an appropriately qualified professional rather than an answer within the Course

Statements made by other participants are their own and should not be relied upon as professional advice. Do not publish account credentials, identification documents or other sensitive financial information within the community.

Participants must behave respectfully and must not harass others, promote unlawful activities or share Course materials without permission. We may remove offending content or restrict access where reasonably necessary, following notice where practicable. Any action must be proportionate and remains subject to applicable consumer rights.

  1. Intellectual property

Course materials are owned by or licensed to us. Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use those materials for your own learning during the applicable access period.

Except as permitted by law or with our written consent, you must not reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, commercially exploit or share Course materials or account access.

  1. Information, third parties and privacy

We take reasonable steps to provide accurate information, but legislation, product terms and market conditions may change. Check current requirements with the relevant authority or professional before acting.

Third-party links are provided for convenience. We do not control external websites or services. Any material commercial or referral relationship relevant to Course content will be disclosed.

Personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at [link], and applicable privacy law.

  1. Complaints and disputes

Please raise complaints with [email protected] We will consider them in good faith and seek a reasonable resolution.

  1. Governing law and severability

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections or rights to bring proceedings in another jurisdiction.

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, it is severed to the extent necessary. The remaining provisions continue to operate where legally possible.

Changes to these Terms will apply to future purchases unless an existing participant expressly agrees otherwise or the change is required by law.
